The production, which was staged at the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre in Torrington, tackled âSilent Sky.â The play was written by American playwright Laura Gunderson and was first produced in 2011.
âSilent Skyâ tells the true story of 19th century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt. Leavitt lived in a time when womenâs ideas, especially in the sciences, were dismissed until a man stepped forward to claim credit.
