Bengaluru moves closer to having a waterway like Cheonggyecheon in South Korea
City-based construction firm Star Infratech has bagged the contract to develop and rejuvenate the Koramangala (K-100) valley between KR Market and Bellandur lake into a ‘Citizens Water Way Project’ for Rs 179.50 crore. The contract also includes the construction of a European-styled pathway, arch bridges and sewage treatment plant (5 MLD). The project is targeted to be ready in the next two years.
