The heads of communication administrations discussed promising avenues of digital development, matters of current interest concerning the communication industry and the information and communication industry at the national level, progress in implementing a strategy on cooperation of the CIS states.
Konstantin Shulgan and Ulvi Bakhshaliyev remarked upon positive results of Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation in communications and informatization. Matters concerning the expansion of constructive interaction, including within the framework of mutual participation in various international events, were discussed.
“I believe the most important thing in today's complicated situation is to look for unconventional approaches because it will be impossible to keep working using old tricks. This is why we are going to find new ways,” Vladimir Orlovsky concluded.
Prospects of advancing Belarus' cooperation with the above-mentioned Chinese bodies were discussed. An agreement was reached to consider the possibility of introducing innovative Beidou equipment and technologies in Belarus, consider the possibility of signing a bilateral document, and create the relevant working group.
A Belarusian delegation led by Aleksei Ivashkin, director of the telecommunication industry oversight enterprise BelGIE, met with Rizat Nurshabekov, director of the state enterprise State Radiofrequency Service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan.
