Spanien: Inflation zieht weiter an MADRID (dpa-AFX) - Die Inflation in Spanien zieht weiter an. Gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat stiegen die nach europäischer Methode erfassten Verbraucherpreise (HVPI) im Juli um 2,9 Prozent, wie das Statistikamt INE am Donnerstag in Madrid mitteilte. Im Juni hatte die Inflationsrate 2,5 Prozent betragen. Gegenüber dem Vormonat sanken die Lebenshaltungskosten jedoch um 1,2 Prozent. Analysten hatten mit den Entwicklungen gerechnet. Die Jahresrate liegt derzeit so hoch wie letztmalig Anfang 2017. Die Behörde begründet die Entwicklung mit steigenden Preisen für Dienstleistungen und Benzin. Die Strompreise seien dagegen gefallen und hätten den gesamten Preisanstieg gedämpft./bgf/jha/
