The Red Fit lab at KX London
There’s a certain feeling I get on the first running session of a European summer holiday. When the sun glows warm on my back as I trot over the French Atlantic dunes, Sicilian cobbles or Mallorcan cliffs, I instantly feel in good health. Faster, stronger and more energetic, it’s my favourite reason to escape the drizzly UK.
Although scarpering abroad feels a lifetime away, I was pleasantly surprised to retrieve a little slice of vitality in an exclusive Chelsea gym two weeks ago. KX (pronounced ‘kicks’) - the £615-a-month private members’ gym and spa which is notoriously tight-lipped about its clients, although I do hear there are some very famous members - invited me to be the first to try its new ‘Red Fit Lab’.
