Of the additional cases reported Monday, 1,289 occurred in students, 242 occurred in teachers and 338 occurred in school staff members. Most of the newly-reported cases occurred in the last week, although some date back to earlier this month. Schools in Central Indiana have a mix of in-person and virtual learning options. Schools are not asked to report cases among students, teachers or staff members that have no contact with the school community and thus don t present a risk for exposure, like those that occur in virtual students.

The annual report   which is compiled, analyzed and released by the Indiana Youth Institute   offers a profile of child well-being at statewide and county levels using indicators of family and community, economic well-being, education and health. It also offers insight into how service providers and policymakers can address the issues affecting the health and well-being of Hoosier children.
