Indy Reads has been in the city for decades as a library, book store, school, event planner and community space. At the core of its mission, the nonprofit believes anyone at any age should be able to start or improve their reading and education at no charge.
The anonymous threat targeted Indy Reads' monthly drag story hour, which the nonprofit said pairs drag with kid's stories to "spread literacy, love and acceptance."
