Though it did cross the finish line with modest gains. After being up as much as 225 points, the dow finished 63 points higher on the day. Nasdaq added 24 and the s p was up 9. Oil moved lower again. Domestic crude fell another dollar closing below 60 a barrel for the first time in 5. 5 years. Foreign brent crude fell half a buck finishing at 64. 24 a barrel.
