Town target Jamie Clapham has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a two-year contract. The former Blue had reportedly held talks with new boss Jim Magilton before deciding to move to Molineux where he spent last week on trial.
Icelandic central defender Indridi Sigurdsson has been released from his trial with the Blues. The former KRC Genk man failed to impress in either Monday s game at Willem II or Wednesday s match at Zulte Waregem.
Town will field all four trialists in tonight s second game of the pre-season tour against Belgian side Zulte-Waregem. The Blues will be without midfielder Matt Richards, due to the ankle injury he sustained in the Willem II match, and striker Sam Parkin who has a bruised foot.
A last-minute Matt Richards volley salvaged Town a 1-1 draw in the first pre-season tour game against Dutch side Willem II. The Tilburg-based club had gone ahead earlier in the second half through ex-Spurs man Mounir El Hamdaoui.
Boss Jim Magilton has named Icelandic trialist Indridi Sigurdsson in the starting line-up for tonight s opening pre-season tour game at Willem II (KO 7.30pm local time). French trialist Alexis Bertin is also in Magilton s side.
