THE government is set to finalize this week discussions with Chinese pharmaceutical firm Sinovac Biotech on the procurement of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines, according to vaccine czar and National Task Force against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) chief implementer Carlito Galvez Jr.

“We want to finalize it this week our final negotiations so that we can firm up the terms and also we are looking at the exact time of the distribution,” Galvez said.
