The short answer, according to industry experts, is yes, it can. In fact, some states are already expanding their broadband workforces with the help of new federal and state government funding.
In an effort to train Ohioans to be part of the broadband and 5G workforce, the Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation awarded nearly $600,000 in training grants. Plus, Huntington Convention Center will host a job fair in search of part-time hourly workers, and Cleveland Heights plans to disburse approximately $2 million to support local small businesses through a new Small Business STIMulus Grant Program.
