After their set @ Cane’s – Mission Beach, CA 5/21/00
Cane’s is one of the best things San Diego has going in live music venues right now. It hosts all ages shows, you can get a drink in the bar area if you’re 21+ (although I think it would be much cooler if they utilized all those televisions in there for some kind of ‘live’ stage feed so you could have a drink AND witness the bands), the sound is pretty good, it’s right on the beach, has good food during the day and perhaps most importantly, you can always find a place to park in the huge lot adjacent to the venue. What more could you whiners want? They even mixed me a Jack-n-Coke that could take the paint of my car (just the way I like’em).
