Of americans see election day tomorrow. Its according to a new brand new cnn poll. 70 of those surveyed say that their vote for congress is to send a message about this president. If you break that down even further, 28 say their vote is to show their support of trump. 42 say their vote is to show opposition to him. And 28 say their vote for congress is not about the president at all. But one big number is arguably the best indicator of how americans feel about how they value tomorrows vote. 31 million. That is at least how many ballots have been cast so far this election. And in some states, like West Virginia and new jersey, more votes are in at this point than at the same time in 2016, which was a president ial election year. And moments ago, the president talked about how these midterms could be different. Theres a great electricity in the air, like we havent seen, in my opinion, since the 16 election. So somethings happening. Well see, but i think were going to do very well. You l
Hello again. Thanks so much for joining me this sunday. Im Fredricka Whitfield in washington, d. C. The countdown is on. Both President Trump and former president barack obama are giving dueling messages in a final push before the midterms. President trump is headlining rallies in tennessee and georgia, where he just touched down in macon a few moments ago. Former president obama wrapping up in indiana to finish up in his hometown of chicago a bit later. So this as an investigation now is launched in the bitter georgia battle for governor, a red state which could turn blue. Were still waiting for details and evidence supporting this 11th hour allegation. All right. Lots to get to today. Cnn correspondents are following candidates and their bigname backers on the trail in pennsyl

What are you seeing on the ground there . Kate, good morning. Slow and steady. Thats what were seeing here in hialeah, florida. Take a look over my shoulder. You can see some of these lines are slow but steady here in florida. Now, there are multiple florida races that are being watched across the country. One of those, of course, the governors race between ron desantis and Andrew Gillum. Our cameras were rolling when ron desantis voted this morning in st. Johns county. They were also rolling when Andrew Gillum went to vote this morning in tallahassee. And then he made these remarks. Take a listen. Us winning tonight, i think, will send a message to mr. Trump and mr. Desantis as well that the politics of hatred and of division, of separation, that they have come to an end. At least in this election t
When truth doesnt matter; when people can just lie with abandon, democracy cant work. And thats whats happening. At the highest levels. Ed the other issue that voters do care about and both parties are agree on this in all seriousness is healthcare. Speaking about lying about healthcare. Ed keep your doctor, keep your plan. This president is lying . The last president had trouble with the truth when it came to healthcare. Pete benghazi and president elect of other things we can talk about. President trump called that out yesterday. Watch. I heard him talk about telling the truth. He was talking about you have to tell the truth. And, yet, 28 times he said you can keep your doctor if you like your doctor. You can keep your plan if you like your plan. They were all lies. Lie after lie. Broken promise after broken promise. Thats what he did. Unlike president obama, we live by a different motto. Its called promises, promises kept. [cheers] pete talked about the lies portion of the obama cli
