KNOX COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation on Tuesday announced a full road closure for a drainage project on State Road 550 in Bruceville. The project is set to begin next week.
Beginning on or around Monday, contractors will close State Road 550 about a mile east of State Road 67 to replace a drainage structure across the highway. This operation will require a full closure for pavement cuts, excavation and replacement.
During construction, the road at the project site will be closed around the clock. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. All through traffic should use the official detour following SR 67, US 41, US 50 and SR 550 at Wheatland.
