Supreme Court Rejects Texas’ and Trump’s Suit to Overturn Election
(CNN) The Supreme Court rejected an attempt from Texas’ attorney general supported by President Donald Trump to block the ballots of millions of voters in battleground states that went in favor of President-elect Joe Biden.
17 state attorneys general supported the lawsuit, including Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill.
“Few things matter more to our American democracy than ensuring the integrity of elections under the rule of law. It’s eminently important for the U.S. Supreme Court to provide clarity and guidance on constitutional issues of such magnitude,” said Hill Wednesday.
