Online registration for admissions to Indian schools SHARE
MUSCAT: The online registration for admissions in Indian Schools in the capital area for the next academic year (2017-2018) will start from January 8 for classes KG I to IX.
The centralised admission system with online registration introduced by the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman has facilitated the entire admission process, making it convenient for parents and schools to take care of rush for admissions.
Online registration for admissions is applicable to six Indian Schools in the capital area Indian School Muscat, Indian School Darsait, Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, Indian School Al Ghubra, Indian School Al Seeb and Indian School Al Maabela.
Over 4,000 student of Indian schools in Oman in limbo after exam cancellation

Muscat: More than 4,200 students attending Indian schools in Oman are eagerly waiting for updates on their exams, and conditions for promotion, after the class XII board exams were postponed, and the class X examinations were cancelled.
The decision over the exams was made following a high-level meeting involving Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, owing to the surge in the number of coronavirus cases in the country.
“The board exams for class XII to be held from May 4 to June, 14, 2021 are hereby postponed,” said Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, India’s Minister for Education. “These exams will be held hereafter.”
