Ranchi witnessed two back-to-back protests of different kind at the local Albert Ekka Chowk on Sunday.
In the first, a group of people responded to the call given by All India Kisan Sabha and different trade unions and beat plates and canisters to protest against Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat programme and to urge people not to listen to him.
In the other, a group of writers and artists gathered there to express their solidarity with the protesting farmers and demanding withdrawal of the farm laws.
