Indian materials conclave at IIT-BHU Varanasi: Chandrayaan-3 consists of an indigenous Lander Module (LM), Propulsion Module (PM) and a Rover, which aims to develop and demonstrate new technologies required for interplanetary missions. The lander has the capability to perform a soft landing at a specified lunar site and deploy the rover which is performing in-situ chemical analysis of the lunar surface during its mobility.
