The National Archives we have celebrated the Constitution Day since 1956, four years after installing the original parchment document, in its place of honor. Over the decades weve celebrated the constitution in many ways. Tomorrow we host one of my favorite events naturalizations, of the United States. Its always a moving experience for people from all parts of the world, as they stand in front of a parchment signed by our founders, 232 years ago its word to support and defend the constitution. We also invite notable guest speakers to help us reflect on and understand the constitution in its Central Place in our nations history, and in present day.
