Pakistani Muslims are upset and Nashir Sheikh, who possessed the Quran, said the government auctioned all his rare and expensive books on medicine and furniture.
The so-called Kashmir Liberation Front announced in a poster issued by it that it had planted “time bombs” on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway and warned people not to travel on the highway for nine days. The poster said that if anyone died or was injured in the blasts, the front would not be responsible.
