Whether you re a novice gardener looking for ways to get your garden off the ground or working from home looking to enhance your workspace, there are an array of plant and flower options available to get started.
Janine Regina, horticulturist for Hammock Gardens Nursery and Landscape, said now is a good time to get out in your garden and look for ways to spruce it up.
“Geraniums are usually the most popular,” said Regina. “A lot of people love geraniums because they re somewhat salt tolerant and they re cold hardy. They can pretty much last through fall, winter and spring. I use Mother s Day as a landmark. Mother s Day is when things start going a little more dormant and don t look as colorful because of the heat.”
