To recall, the original PUBG Mobile battle royale game was banned in India back in September 2020 under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act. As per a report coming from
Sean Hyunil Sohn, the Head of Corporate Development at Krafton gave an update on PUBG Mobile’s comeback during the India Gaming Conference 2021. The company also highlighted that Krafton’s focus is on relaunching the game in India and they will not open pre-registration for the latest iteration PUBG: New State in the country.

Ever since PUBG Mobile got banned in India in September 2020, gamers are eagerly waiting for game to make a comeback in the country.
Latest reports suggest that Krafton, the company spearheading the game’s launch in India, is working hard to bring the battle Royale game to the country soon.
According to a report by Sportkeeda, the company is in touch with the Indian government and is awaiting their approvals and feedback for the re-launch of PUBG Mobile India.

PUBG Mobile – India Relaunch: PUBG Mobile is working hard to somehow bring the game back in India. According to a Krafton Inc representative they are in talks with Indian government and awaiting their approvals and feedback for the relaunch of PUBG Mobile in India.
“We are awaiting for Indian government’s consideration and decision on our next plan with PUBG in the region,” the report by Sportskeeda quoted a Krafton communications representative as saying.
The report also quoted Head of Corporate Development at Krafton, Sean Hyunil Sohn, who gave an update on PUBG Mobile’s comeback during the India Gaming Conference 2021.
