Im so pleased to have one of berts former students and a student whos had a very impressive publication record, her most recent book released by lsu and the title, the civilian war confederate women and Union Soldiers during shermans march. We have talked a lot about original research and those historians who love to dig into the archives, read manuscripts, let skpers diaries. Lisas book is chock full of that primary research.
