LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – During the pandemic, items like masks, hand sanitizer and soap are on high demand. It can be hard to find the items on store shelves. The Bay and Civic Nebraska teamed up on Saturday to make sure families had access to those items.
Volunteers handed out free COVID-19 prevention kits.
“We know that a lot of these items can be expensive for people,” volunteer Audrey Hertel said. “We don’t think that finance should determine an access to health and safety. We wanted to open this up for everyone to come if they need it.”
