The Egyptian Armed forces say they have launched air strikes against the militants they believe were responsible for fridays attack on a mosque in sinai. At least 235 people were killed when gunmen stormed the mosque during friday prayers. It happened in a remote town in northern sinai, near the city of el arish. Militants opened fire inside the mosque, and detonated a bomb. They were armed with automatic rifles and rocket propelled grenades.
