the pentagon is blaming the afghan government for a deadly u.s. air strike that killed 22 people at a doctors without borders medical clinic in kunduz. the top commander of the u.s. forces in afghanistan says the air strike was requested by afghan leaders to help drive taliban out the city. doctors without borders requesting an independent investigation. new this morning, israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu ramping up security operations to defeat what he calls a wave of terror. thousands of police deployed in jerusalem, soldiers dispatched with orders to enter arab neighborhoods and demolish homes of terrorists. all of this coming after five days of escalating violence on a
command to stop. everything cannot be spoken taken yus. so i do believe they called in the right folks, but it just takes time. the other factor here obviously is once you start shooting, it s ticket to get the forces to kind of pull back. and the third factor, overall the operation against taliban in kunduz was successful. they have been able to excel the forces out. so the one bit of good news here, i don t mean to put a happy face on it, but the fact is the afghan forces did not collapse like a cheap card table and they were able to you c successfully push out the foe. so it tells me, first, we are making progress in afghanistan. to depart would be a complete mistake. we do need to figure out what happened and how to prevent it going forward. you have these battles
