did something that judges don t usually do. he granted an interview to the atlanta journal-constitution specifically to defend the grand jurors who did interviews this week about the criminal investigation of donald trump that the grand juror participated. in two weeks ago, judge robert mcburney and most of us outside of georgia when he said that any member of the grand jury that investigated donald trump was legally allowed to talk about their investigation. that would not be true of federal grand jurors and it would not be true of grand juries in most other states. judge mcburney made the point in a hearing about whether to release the grand juries relation written report. fall district attorney fani willis told the grand jury s findings, which the judge agreed to do. but he made the point at the
