Several social media users complained about slow internet services ahead of the “first-ever virtual jalsa” organised by Imran Khan s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday.
Over 100 workers of Imran Khan s PTI party in Pakistan were arrested by Punjab police to prevent them from holding a rally in solidarity with their jailed leader. The PTI alleged that the police entered the residences of their workers without warrants and harassed them. The police claimed that the workers did not have permission to hold the rally.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court calling the arrest of party chief Imran Khan "abduction at gunpoint" by the Punjab police. The petitioner stated that Khan had been taken to an undisclosed location and requested the court to order the authorities to produce Khan before it. Khan s arrest followed his conviction in the Toshakhana case by the Islamabad trial court.
