Islamabad, Apr 25 (PTI) A court in Pakistan on Thursday barred jailed former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi from issuing provocative statements against state institutions, including the army, and officials.
The trial of jailed former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held behind closed doors, his lawyer said on Thursday, a day after he was indicted for leaking state secrets, blocking his chances to contest a national election in February.
Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said the chances were that former prime minister Imran Khan could be tried in a military court for his alleged involvement in the May 9 incidents.
