KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 ― Daily new case numbers continued to remain below 1,500 this week and on Tuesday (May 3), the number of new infections reported fell to three digits, adding joy to the festive atmosphere. Tuesday’s 922 new caseload was the lowest this year when daily new infections soared.
The number of new COVID-19 infections continued to drop with 72,556 cases, including an imported case, recorded on April 1, down 8,272 cases from the previous day, according to the Ministry of Health.
Vietnam logged 15,377 new cases of COVID-19, including 28 imported ones, over the past 24 hours from 4pm on December 12 to 4pm on December 13, according to the Ministry of Health.
Vietnam recorded 58 new cases of COVID-19 over the past six hours to 6 p.m on May 21, including one imported case who had been quarantined upon their arrival, the Ministry of Health said.
