House Impeaches Trump For Incitement Of Insurrection (Updated)
The House has voted to impeach President Donald Trump for the second time – making him the only U.S. president to ever be impeached twice. The vote was 232-197, with 10 Republicans joining all the Democrats to impeach. Another 4 Republicans did not vote (read into that what you will).
All four of Arizona’s
Republican Sedition Party members voted against impeachment, violating their oath of office to defend the Constitution and the United States against all enemies including domestic enemies, i.e., the white nationalists, QAnon cult, and Trump MAGA red cap domestic terrorists who engaged in a violent insurrection against the United States government in an attempted coup, killing a Capitol Police officer and threatening all of their lives. These traitors should face expulsion from f
the direction of limits and standards. an impeachment power exercised without extrinsic and outstanding tenures would be built by the laws that are expressly forbidden by the american spirit and justice. what we see in the house managers charges and their definition of abuse of power is exactly antithetical to the framers approach. because their very premise for their abuse of power charge is that it is entirely based on subjective motive. not objective standards, not predefined offenses, but the president can do something that is perfectly lawful, perfectly within his authority. but if the real reason, as professor dershowitz pointed out, that s the language in their report. reason in the president s mind is something they ferret out and decide is wrong, that becomes impeachable. that s not a standard at all.
over the head with them in the election and not allow an acquittal. does that strategy work? is that a possibility? it s not a possibility. as i mentioned the senate trial has to commence as a constitutional duty. the senate has to proceed. i believe she will blink. if she doesn t, they think they will proceed with a trial without her. it s not just about trump.ed it s about the constitution and misusing the impeachment power and not only impeding the ability of the president too function but enormous disrespect of a senate that is being manifested here. the behavior of the speaker is deplorable. this is from chuck schumer.. he s making an argument that this is about due process. mitch mcconnell said it s not the senate s job to do the house s business which is to prove the case.. they should not have to bring up more witnesses. t watch this.

impeachment power the pelosi democrats have already done. speaking of the trivialization. we were told the urgency to act was so great we had to ignore due process in the house. that all of these fights about what the legislative branch is entitled to in terms of documents and witnesses, we couldn t wait for it to play out in the courts because it was so important to act right now. this is because moderate democrats in the house were getting nervous. it wasn t going well. they wanted it over. now to say after running roughshod overdue process now we can slow down in trying to negotiate powers that pelosi is not entitled to i think just blows the credibility if this process had any to begin with. christmas season let me offer you another version of the christmas story, which is that president trump and his aides wanted to slow walk the process.
