Impact Wrestling Viewership Down This Week
Tuesday’s new edition of Impact Wrestling, featuring Moose and Chris Bey defeating Impact World Champion Rich Swann and Tommy Dreamer in the main event, drew 173,000 viewers on AXS TV, according to Showbuzz Daily. The show drew a 0.05 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.
This week’s Impact ranked #125 on the Cable Top 150 for the key demo, and #132 for the night on cable in viewership.
These audience is down 7% from last week’s episode, which drew 186,000 viewers, while the 18-49 demo rating was even. Last week’s episode ranked #118 on the Cable Top 150 and #129 for the night in viewership.
Alex Shelley Reveals Why He Missed Impact Hard To Kill
Alex Shelley took to Twitter this afternoon and revealed that his day job as a physical therapy clinician kept him from working the recent Impact Wrestling Hard To Kill pay-per-view.
Shelley was scheduled to team with Chris Sabin and Impact World Champion Rich Swann in the Hard To Kill six-man main event, against the team that ended up winning – AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Impact World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers. Impact announced the day before the pay-per-view that Moose would be replacing Shelley, noting that Shelley informed them late the night before that he was unable to travel to Nashville for the pay-per-view due to unavoidable circumstances.
