When asked about his library when it was first being played planned, president nixon said i have insisted that the Nixon Library and birthplace be not a monument to the career of one man, but a place where visitors and scholars will be able to recall the events of the time i served as president and to measure and wayeigh the policies my administration pursued. I hope the Nixon Library and birthplace will be different, a vital place of discovery and rediscovery, of investigation, of study, debate and analysis. Also new we are working to find out condition of two people hurt in the wrong way crash on the beltway. It happened early this morning, causing big delays as you can see, on the outer loop near the landover road exit. Maryland state police tell us the person driving on the wrong side of the road was hurt along with a passenger. Highway is open again now. New information to share about the death of a toddler in Prince Georges County. We now know that the child wandered into the street on early oaks lane in Capital Heights last night. The driver who hit the boy or girl had just left a Family Gathering there. Prince georges county police say, it appears what happened was a tragic accident. After 2 00 a. M. At the quality inn on richmond highway. The chief said they had problems extinguishing the fire because virginia power controls the electricity. Paramedics took several people to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Right now seven Prince Georges County firefighters are hurt after their truck overturned. Those firefighters are part of the morningside crew. Thats right of the the truck flipped over on brampbl avenue in hillcrest heights. Part of that intersection is now closed rainfall the Fire Department sent these pictures to us via twitter. Can you see the overturned fire truck right there.
