The Impact Church in Hollinwood
Churchgoers at the Impact Church in Hollinwood have launched an appeal in a bid to finally raise enough money to buy a van which will allow them to continue their work with the homeless and most impoverished in the local community.
Pastor and Project Leader Lee Marsland said: Everyone at the Impact Community Church, and through our outreach arm of the church (Encounter Ministries), works with homeless charities and people who are really struggling. We collect and and deliver food parcels, clothing, and household goods / furniture; and at Christmas we have been doing a Big Give for a number of years now to enable people who are struggling to even buy food.
