The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has said that its operatives arrested a 30-year-old woman who attempted to drown her five-month-old baby. The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, who made this known in a statement on Monday, said that the murder attempt was averted by a good Nigerian. The police spokesperson said that the good Nigerian identified as Olusola Sonaya, of the RSS River Sagamu saved the baby identified as Imole Anifowose from the premeditated murder by the mother, Oluwabunmi Ajayi.
