PETALING JAYA: With six million passports having expired during the Covid-19 pandemic, a surge of renewals was almost certain after travel limits were lifted and the Immigration Department should have expected the crowd, says a source.
JOHOR BARU: About 2,300 vehicles are now able to pass through immigration clearance within an hour at the Johor Causeway, following some short-term measures implemented by the authorities, says Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud.
PUTRAJAYA: The surge in demand for international passports in the wake of borders reopening early last year had the Immigration Department working seven long days a week while trying to meet the needs of the public.
