NEW BEDFORD Boston-based nonprofit organization Citizens for Juvenile Justice is hosting a community conversation next Wednesday about racial profiling and the policing of youth in New Bedford.
During the meeting, the organization will release a report with an analysis of New Bedford Police Department data and recommendations as to how the department can reform policing in the city.
According to Citizens for Juvenile Justice, the city police department targets young people of color in lower-income neighborhoods in a white-majority city.
