PMLI Small Cap Fund will offer policyholders an opportunity to create wealth over the policy life by investing in a diversified equity portfolio with a focus on small-cap companies, according to a press release by PNB MetLife India Insurance.
Mutual funds owned 136.26 crore of HDFC Bank shares in January, up 6.92% from 127.44 crore shares held in December, indicating net buying of around 88,307,659 shares, according to the Prime database.
Aditya Birla Sun Life International Equity Fund is an open-ended equity scheme following an international theme by investing predominantly in Global Equities. The fund house further stated that it reserves the right to change/modify the maximum subscription amount of the scheme in future.
New investors can invest with an amount of Rs 5000 and any amount thereafter while for existing investors, Rs 1,000 and any amount thereafter is allowed. For Systematic Investment Plan (SIP), the minimum amount is Rs 1,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.
The sectoral/thematic funds again managed to gain investors interest as the category saw the highest inflows to the tune of Rs 4,804.69 crore in January compared to Rs 6,005.49 crore in December. Smallcap funds witnessed the second-highest inflows of Rs 3,256.98 crore.
