Kashyapi pointed out that since the start of summer in March this year, Pune has not seen many days when temperature has gone beyond 40 degree Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted Pune would continue to experience hot weather for the next few days as the maximum temperature would continue to hover above the 40 degrees-mark.
