Our Correspondent Mokokchung, Oct. 7 (EMN): MH-10 Kohima beat Changtongya Volleyball Association (CVA) ‘A in the final match to lift 12th edition of the Luke Sasong Memorial Volleyball Trophy 2022 organised by the Luke Sasong Sporting Association under the aegis of Mangmetong Students’ Union at Multi-Sports Complex on Friday. MH-10, Kohima outclassed Changtongya Volleyball Association in the 15th Imchaba Memorial Open Volleyball Trophy in September 2022. Both the teams showed aggressive offenses in the beginning of the first set. However Changtongya were pinned down at 18 – 25 in the first set. They took their last time-out at 18 – 19 but could not recover and the first set which went in favour of MH 10. In the second set, MH-10 outplayed CVA again. CVA blocks proved futile as MH-10 displayed their spiking prowess. CVA took time-out but could not retaliate and lost the set by 19-25.
