Mathew de Kock believes Imagine Howe can break his maiden status at the ninth attempt ahead of Sunday s meeting at Sale.
Imagine Howe is an acceptor for the $35,000 RAL Constructions Maiden Plate (1740m) at Sale and has been placed three of eight starts, finishing fourth at his past two starts in metropolitan maiden company.
The gelded son of Reset finished behind Captain Canuck over 1600 metres at Moonee Valley on October 30 but had a break between starts when finishing fourth of seven starters in the $50,000 Neds Bet Back Maiden Plate (1440m) at Caulfield on December 16. He had a little rest because he wasn’t settling in his work so we just went back to square one, changed some equipment on him and he settled last time out, de Kock said, with a crossover nose band used for the first time at Caulfield.
