Raportul grupului consultativ al ONU în domeniul științelor climatice prezintă o imagine sumbră și dezastruoasă a unei planete care se încălzește, potrivit France24.
Dacă lumea se încălzește cu 1,5 grade Celsius, cu 0,4 grade peste nivelul actual, 14% din populație va fi expusă la valuri de căldură severe cel puțin o dată la cinci ani. Aceasta este „o creștere semnificativă a caniculei”, se arată în raport.
