Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) has said that Nigeria can’t afford a sick candidate or President to manage it, being a sick country. Sowore, on Saturday in Ondo State, asked Nigerians to vote right and avoid electing a “sick president” in the 2023 general elections. The AAC Presidential candidate made this known while speaking at a marathon held in Ilu-Titun in the Okitipupa area of Ondo State, stressing that Nigerians would define the future of the country for another round of years with their vote next year.

BEDC Electricity Plc (BEDC) has decried the rising cases of vandalism across its franchise zone, saying it is an economic crime and an act of sabotage against the good purpose and intents of the company.
BEDC is therefore, canvassing that tougher laws should be enforced to protect public property, especially electricity infrastructure.
The company stated this in a press release signed by the Head, Corporate Affairs, Mr. Adekunle Tayo, where he appealed to members of the public on the need to be vigilant and security conscious on the activities of some unruly elements in the society whose aim is to make life unbearable for them through their nefarious acts.
