A ballerina from Russia has staged an incredible artistic protest against a construction project that locals believe threatens Batareinaya Bay, a unique natural habitat.
Ilmira Bagautdinova, one of Russia s best dancers, braved freezing temperatures on her pointe shoes to perform Swan Lake in piles of frozen waters of Batareinaya Bay.
She filmed her performance in solidarity with the people protesting against a plan of building a great silo at the site.
