2022 Four-Star Guard Isaac McKneely Commits to Virginia McKneely is a top-60 prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite. Author: McKneely officially made the announcement on Saturday. Indiana was in McKneely s top eight, which also included Kentucky, Purdue, Illinois, West Virginia, Louisville, Virginia and North Carolina. He attends Poca High School in West Virginia, so it was no surprise he chose a school closer to home. McKneely is a top-60 prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite. His high school coach went on record once to say he is the most highly-rated recruit Poca has ever had. As for Indiana, this doesn t hurt the Hoosiers too much going forward. CJ Gunn, another guard for the class of 2022, is committing Feb. 7, and much like Virginia with McKneely, Indiana hopes Gunn will choose a school close to home.

Former Indiana Recruiting Target Matt Cross No Longer with Miami Cross was shooting 40% from three in his nine games with Miami this season. Author: Jan 29, 2021 BLOOMINGTON, Ind.  Miami head coach Jim Larrañaga announced Thursday afternoon that freshman forward Matt Cross will no longer be with the program, effective immediately. Jeff Goodman of Stadium reported that the decision for Cross to leave was made by Miami, not Cross. No reason has been given yet. Cross started in nine of the 14 games he appeared in for the Hurricanes, averaging 6.9 points and 3.5 rebounds in 26.4 minutes per game. He also made 45% of his field goals, including 40% from behind the 3-point line.
