San Francisco Church, Center was set ablaze on Sept. 17
The Federal Bureau of Investigation Thursday announced a new reward of up to $50,000, over and above the previous $25,000 reward announced earlier by the St. Gregory the Illuminator Church and Armenian Cultural Center, for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the arson attack at the Armenian Cultural Center at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church. The total award that can be claimed for the hate crime information is now $75,000.
On September 17 the Board of Trustees of the St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church of San Francisco announced that around 4 a.m. the building adjacent to the church was set ablaze by arsonists.

SAN FRANCISCO - The Federal Bureau of Investigation s San Francisco Division announced a $50,000 reward on Thursday for information on the arson at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church.
The arson at the church s adjacent administration building happened on Sept. 17 at around 4 a.m. in the city s Presidio Heights neighborhood. Fire, heavy smoke and water destroyed church records, and ripped through its library and Sunday school, causing significant damage to the church itself.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for this crime.

The FBI’s San Francisco Field Office, in conjunction with the San Francisco Police Department, is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for the September 17, 2020, arson at St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church located at 51 Commonwealth Avenue in San Francisco, California. The unknown perpetrator(s) set fire to the church’s administration building, which housed offices, a library, and a Sunday school. The building sustained significant fire, smoke, and water damage. No one was injured.
