The Illinois Department on Aging and Illinois Department of Human Services has distributed more than 1,100 devices to older adults and people with disabilities to increase connectivity for those disproportionally affected by the pandemic.
Paula Basta, director of the Illinois Department of Aging, recently visited the Illinois Assistive Technology Program Building to personally deliver technology device bundles to Lisa Armocida, 67, of Staunton and others.
