Several Senate Republicans confronted Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., over his hold on hundreds of military promotions during a Senate session Wednesday.
Senator Dan Sullivan was joined by Senators Joni Ernst, Lindsey Graham, Todd Young, and Mitt Romney in an attempt to pass 115 top military nominees delayed by Senator Tommy Tuberville’s hold over his opposition to the Pentagon’s policy of reimbursing servicemembers for travel to obtain reproductive care. This is the first time that Republicans have gone to the floor to fight Tuberville on his hold.
