getting ready to close it up. the dow jones industrial average looking at a gain shy of 150. market was stronger in the day. very much a relief rally on real hopes there could be a bailout for greece. there were reports that germany and the eu may be putting together a loan guarantee. that gave the market a little bit of comfort. i should point out the nasdaq is the only of the three major averages to be positive for the month of february. that is a story in and of itself. the nasdaq hasn t had a positive month of february since 2003. we ll see if that can continue. dollar weakness today, energy stocks and materials to the plus side as well. caterpillar is quite the story. that gave the market a lift. a big upgrade today along with industrial names. caterpillar was up. coca-cola was positive, mcdonald s had positive numbers, boeing among the leadership groups in the dow. there is the bell. and the closing bell continues in just a second.
