Max Cavalera says the debut album by his new band Go Ahead And Die stopped him losing his mind over the last 12 month. “Everybody was going crazy because of the pandemic,” he says. “There was a black cloud around, and nobody had anything to do. So making this record, I had a reason to get out of bed and do something with my life. It saved my sanity.”There’s another reason it means a lot to him.
